Out of Africa

African Bridal Couture

This beautiful inspiration shoot, found at Bridal Musings illustrates a unique way of using animal prints, traditional African elements and natural elements with contemporary bridal couture.

Elizabeth of Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium came up with the creative concept behind the shoot. Here she shares a little about the shoot:

This shoot is a contemporary interpretation of Africa’s diverse and unique cultural heritage as well as an homage to the modern day African princess. We used colours ranging from dramatic black and white, metallic gold to shades of coral. We included traditional African fabrics, jewellery and styling to create the most alluring images that are indeed ‘Out of Africa.
