Wedding Bathroom Must-Haves

Wedding Bathroom Must-Haves

Guests will undoubtedly gush over your gown, be amazed by your centerpieces and snap photos of ‘The Kiss’. But give them a charging station for their phones or blister Band-Aids for when their heels start hurting, and these thoughtful details will make a huge difference!

Here are a few wedding bathroom details you probably won’t have thought of, but they will leave a lasting impression on your guests and make them a whole lot happier too!

Wedding Bathroom Essentials

Before thinking about the luxuries, ensure that your bathrooms have all the essentials. Confirm with your venue co-ordinator that they will be cleaned at regular intervals, and that they will be well stocked. You can also ask for or bring, lovely liquid soaps, luxury air fresheners, hand towels and fragrance diffusers.

A Wedding Bathroom Comfort Basket

Clutch purses are not exactly spacious. While we all have a bit of Mary Poppins in us, and you’ve probably learned the art of squashing enough things in your small handbag to leave any man in awe - it’s lovely to have access to a few luxuries and essentials in a ladies bathroom. We were first introduced to the idea of a wedding comfort basket on Pinterest, and it’s brilliant! A wedding is a long celebration with lots of guests, it’s bound to bring with it blistered heels, at least one broken dress strap and a few headaches. So be a thoughtful host and include a few special items in the bathrooms!

You can make them look beautiful by using pretty baskets, silver trays, glass jars, and having a framed sign explaining the basket to your guests. We added a few inspiration images below to give you examples of comfort baskets we love!

Here are a few suggested items for your wedding comfort baskets:

For the Ladies:

- Safety Pins
- Sewing Kit
- Tissues
- Mints / Chewing Gum
- Band-Aids
- Headache Tablets
- A Brush
- Hair Pins
- Hair Ties
- Baby Wipes
- Hand Cream
- Anti-Perspirant / Deodorant

If you really want to go the extra mile, put out a beautiful tray of pretty perfumes, include bottles of cold water and place soft hand towels in a basket next to each sink.

For the Gents:

- Safety Pins
- Sewing Kit
- Tissues
- Mints / Chewing Gum
- Band-Aids
- Headache Tablets
- Anti-Perspirant / Deodorant

You could also set up a charging station for mobile phones, although personally we prefer guests who don’t spend the night absorbed in their phone.
